Thanks for considering contributing content to our site, please check the following guidelines.
In General
Writing should be worth reading. To achieve this, a good starting point would have to be accuracy and clarity. If you are thinking about submitting material for publication, our preference would be for a conversational style of writing, but most importantly we prize individuality, be yourself - but not overly casual or too formal.
Article Size
The adage “short and sweet” should be the guiding principle, if you can say it with one word instead of ten, then do so but not at the expense of relevant context or necessary background information, if you think a term or idea needs explanation then feel free - but do get to the point.
As regards submission size, anything up to 500 words would be good for a news item and somewhere in the region of 500-1500 words for a feature. More in-depth pieces would of course be considered.
Article Images

“A picture is worth a thousand words” it just takes longer to download. Use images where appropriate, but keep them proportional to page and article size.
Article Titles, Subheadings and Format
Page titles, article titles and subheadings should be in title case: Each Major Word Should Start With a Capital Letter (observe the styling on this page).
Article titles are normally used as the page header and should be marked up as h1, there should only be one h1, all subheadings should be marked up in the range h2-h4.
Try to break up longer paragraph runs with subheadings wherever possible, it's more web accessible and easier to read.
The same goes for lists, for example, submissions are acceptable in the following formats:
Quality of Contributed Work
Professionalism, quality and accuracy are the bedrock of any respected information source. All work submitted will undergo a thorough review process before being published, if any significant changes are required, we shall consult the contributor.
Author Profile and Photo
Submissions should ideally be accompanied by an author bio and photo. Photos should be 75 pixels square or of suitable resolution for reduction to that size.
Your introductory bio should be no more than a couple of sentences long. If you are a regular contributor then you will also have a page bio, normally up to about five hundred words - biography examples can be found in the authors index.
Wages of Authorship
There is currently no financial incentive for your efforts, but there is exposure for your work and as the site grows, then so does the profile of its contributors.
Submit
Bear in mind that any submissions must be original unpublished content.
You can email your submission or use our contact form, remembering to attach any necessary assets.
